Georgian Minister of Economy calls on the tourism sector to be very careful when establishing prices. According to Dimitry Kumsishvili, the country has a number of competitors in the neighborhood and therefore, the tourism sector must bear in mind that prices and services should be at the appropriate level in order not to lose those visitors who wish to visit the country. In the Minister’s words, much more income from tourism is expected this year. He says that last year tourism generated $ 1 billion 935 million that was $ 148 million more than in 2014. The first three months of the current year show that this figure will be even more this year . The Ministry is working with a number of airlines to ensure cheap tickets for the tourists wanting to visit Georgia.
